A flashy red marked by aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, plum and toasty oak. Impressive right out of the gate, this shuts down on the compact finish, where dusty tannins reign. Best from 2025 through 2038.

The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Corvees, which includes one-sixth whole bunches, has a perfumed, floral nose. Fine delineation, nicely focused, pressed iris flower. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip, leaning slightly more towards the red fruit. Pliant tannins with a touch of white pepper emerge towards the harmonious finish. Very pure, this should give 10 years of drinking pleasure.
